i found out a stock starter that came from a 60's 428 4 spd car works, i just dont want to run a stock starter, and i am a glutten for punishment i just want to find out whats wrong. after trying the oem i was sure it was the cvr but the powemaster did not work either so now i think it is a problem with the block plate and bell housing. i have to call prestolite on monday they left me a e mail to call them but were closed on friday, so we will see.
