Default pics of the disaster

Finally, after 6 months of wait, I gathered myself up to get the engine out of the Cobra and do a damage assessment.
Block is beyond repair and many other parts are broken.
Oil pump has the mount flange ripped off, oil pump shaft is bent, external oil filter pickup is fractured, front cam chain cover is a meal of aluminum crumbs, distributor has the oil pump lodging burst apart, the camshaft has taken a hit from something flying about, the oil pan is badly bend and there is oil all over under the car.
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

There are more pictures in my gallery.

I have already contacted Keith to see if anything can be salvaged toward the built of a new engine. This time I want to make sure I get a crankshaft that will not break.

What do you have to say to this?
