My 78 Dodge Magnum with 2 bbl 360 had a thermal vacuum switch that made it ported unless the coolant temp was above 200 (or maybe it was 210) degrees, then it switched over to manifold vacuum to up the idle when it was hot. I thought that was cool and left it alone when I was a young lad trying to make it a bit faster.
