All of that, and check your battery voltage. If it's been sitting for a while and you only ran it a short time it may not have a full charge. No full charge, no start.
This happened to me several years ago with a brand new battery (eventually determined it had a bad cell). I run an MSD distributor with no control box. I jumped it and it immediately fired up.
