leroy17 you hit the nail on the head....all waxes are good. Some fill the scratches and most don't last too long, but that's what they are designed to do. Protect the paint and be a sacrificial layer to protect the paint. I never use compound, it's liquid sandpaper.
A clay bar is for only when the paint feels gritty...pretty rare unless you are near a paint shop or industrial area......past experience after a "professional" repair.
