Default Expandable Foam w/Fiberglass Problems?

Gentlemen,

I have an early production CSX4000 series Cobra. I want to tackle a problem the car has with excessive heat within the cockpit. I have a serious draft of hot air that comes in from the area of the door hinges.

It's a fiberglass bodied car and I was thinking of using an expandable foam in this area. Have any of you tried this? Will the foam cause any kind of chemical reaction that will distort the fiberglass?

If any of you have done this with success, could you please recommend a specific brand/type of foam to use?

Thanks!
