Not necessarily, it has a lot to do with total surface area of which the “Tea Strainers" have very little.

The Tea Strainers also use a delicate foam material that melts when the carbs sneeze. You can see the melted areas in lamaluv's photo. In my case they robbed 80HP so needless to say I no longer use them.

But I think your EFI system looks great lamaluv....
