Simon,

I don't find "Motorola" as a Ford application in my books. I do show them for AMC so it's possible that you have a retro fitted alternator. Anyway, I do show a number of Motorola alternators and the wiring is slightly different for each. What I do show is that they all appear to be internally regulated ( a raised plate on the back of the alternator with three bolts and two diodes on it) If you can provide a biut more info I can see if I have the wiring info.
