Well Okay, here's my silly opinion. SFP and Backdraft are both excellent replicas, both have their own great qualities and values. Both cost more up front and return more when you go to sell them. Both are made in a foriegn country (not America) in a hugh factories that are run by people that most likely pay low wages (assumption). Both are not exact copies of a real Shelby, but look great and are high quality.
These cars are for folks that don't want to, or can't build their own cobra and also want to enjoy bragging about the name more than the mechanical abilities and construction of the car. There are plenty of oustanding kits made in America that are engineered to perform, maybe the best are ERA and Kirkham, along with the VW of kit casr FFR.
There are some good buys out there on all brands, it's most important to understand what's in the replica your interested in and it's percieved value by you.
Enjoy whatever one you choose...they are all great little hot rods.
