Trying to ascertain order of wives
You might be able to find out if you check what happened to Ginseng Forest, some company that was listed on the stock exchange. Back during the time of the Series 1, Shelby reportedly transferred Shelby American (or whatever his company was called back then) to that company and then later re-named Ginseng. I printed the press release as I found it below.
Also I was comparing a list I had of former spouses and I think I have one too many but I'd be curious to know if there's any more information on names. I added two marriages from a list composed by a historian who was there in the Fifties and Sixties in sports car racing and who can tell you what gear Gurney was in at which corner in each race so i trust his judgement.
-Jeanne (mother of his three children)
-Jan Harrison (TV star) married and divorced in Mexico early '60s just before the Cobra was born
-Sue Stafford of New Zealand-- a six week marriage
to get her into the country (ironically he employed her father Arnold as a race mechanic)
-- a lady named Sandy Wilson
-- an unknown marriage in the Eighties
--Lena Dahl - from Sweden, she died in a Jeep accident in 1997
--Cleo Randell Roberts, married 1997
