SP, what you're showing there is referred to as a barb or nipple and if you so choose you could just use a worm type hose clamp in it. To make it pretty you could use something like this:
To make it cheaper and more sanitary you could do what Chas suggested. The line, clamps and fittings are all available at a variety of suppliers including Summit, Jegs and NAPA.
