I just put Comp seat in my SPF and I love it. It really holds you in place.
However the height of the sides vs. the steering wheel makes egress much more challenging! So I figured a Quick release for the steering wheel would be the ticket.
In looking at options, I came across Schroeder Racing products here in Burbank Ca. I called them up and as it turns out, they have a very nice QR with a SPF splined-tapered, bolt-on, coupler on the shelf for about $75.00!
I had to machine an adapter for the 3-bolt pattern on the QR to the weird-a$$, 6 bolt Moto-Lita pattern (?) but im really happy with the out come.
I also built a little conical sheet alum cover for the face of the turn signal assy, but it was a piece of cake.
