Agreed. Nothing looks as jarring as a Kirkey in a classic car. Obviously, safety has to take precedence over form on the track, but it sure does kill "the look". Here's a source for some nice classic seats that might fit with what you have in mind: Porsche seats - leather car seats - custom car seats - Recaro car seats - classic car seats Something along the lines of what you're thinking of is the "Sammio" roadster for a Triumph Herald chassis:
