Don't be rushing to shim big things-your car's no different than 6 or 700 other ERAs. Assemble and see what you've got first.
Yeah - it seems like there are a thousand little, individual assembly jobs at this point and I tend to dwell on each one and try to perfect it and not miss anything important. But I managed to miss shaving the corner off of the throw-out fork. Mine looks like it's close to missing the clutch cylinder but I can't be sure until I get fluid in it and try to cycle it. And then out comes the dremel or cutoff wheel probably.

But, I did put a bolt through the motor mount anyway.
