Some points on the RT3B...

The chassis all leave the factory as a standard RT3, so when people are shopping if a certain color combination grabs you it does not have to be eliminated from contention because it is marked as a B or not.

Also due to this fact you can add as many or few items from the B "menu" to a standard RT3 as you like. Generally speaking, the customers we have worked with want the black out trim and then tailor the rest of the chassis to their taste or budget.

The B option has been available for approx. 3 full seasons now. In regards to the trim holding up it has been in great shape on all the cars that have returned to us for service over the years. I often tell people one of my favorite Backdrafts to "own" so far was our suede white demo car with matte black trim. It was so easy to keep clean and no time in the polishing/waxing department... it was get in and go with a 5 minute wipe down with Windex every so often.

The Coyote setup is emerging as a significant portion of sales. The downside for us is the install complexity and time is much higher. In fact installers side by side will complete 1 Coyote powered car to every 2.5 small block Ford powered setups. The upside is the engines promise amazing reliability and durability ... they are after all designed to go 200k+ miles in a daily driver Mustang/F150/etc. And we are now at the point where the elements that go around it (alternators, brackets, air intake, etc.) are becoming standardized on each install. Depending on who is doing your Coyote install pay attention to how they finish it off and ask them what alternator they are running and how many amps etc. it is. This is important if you want to add electronic accessories and also because the computer etc. that runs this engine needs its fair share of juice.
