Ive had a bit more time to play with the Cobra the last few days. I bit the bullet and removed the turbos after long contemplation. I dont think I could get them to stop leaking
oil into the mufflers. I made a mini pipe to swap for the turbos out and if i can think of a way to stop them leaking them they can go back on..
Sorted out the ABS module comms issue, which also sorted the trans issue (the ZF auto uses speed and throttle position to work out gear position), so took it for a quick spin to see if the module is talking correctly, and if the traction control works correctly...
I can report that the traction control is perfect! As the engine comes on cam, it just slightly steps off line, a hint of torque control, grip returns, and BAM! More POWER! The trans is also really good, almost seemless shifting, worth the headache of wiring and the complication..
The engine note is just great, it is not in limp home, so its putting in full advance of the ignition. Theres a video, if you'd like the link, just PM me, as it may or may not have been legal to test it....
