Gary i know this a little late, but it never hurts to plan for the future. U should have no problem running that cam on the street. Here is your receipt for success! .
1. Up grade your lifters.
2. Upgrade you rockers to shaft mount for added safety and connivence.
3. Do not let it sit and idle below 1500 for extended period of time.
2. KEEP UP with your lash, if one of the valves requires constant adjustment something is wrong. Valve adjustment should last at least a couple thousand miles with shaft rockers.

I have been running a solid roller (over 700 net lift , Ramps about a 2.5 out of 5 on aggressiveness) for 4 years with only one failure (cheep comp cam Endure-X lifters, learned my lesson ). Best of luck
