Heres one option that Im looking at for my build.
Slab body with flairs along the lines of csx 2230 (i think thats the #)
Car will be used for touring, and all around runabout.
Im thinking IFS, for a bit of improved ride and handling, jag rearend
Engine wise Im sticking with a 289, nothing fancy in the induction department, single 4bbl.
Factory hi po cam.
Trans will be toploader, as that is what I have.
Under car, side exit exhaust
Painted wire wheels.
Dropped center dash, w smith style gauges
Full street appointments.
If I go with a cut back door body everything will be the same except wheels.
Thats it. Im just trying to figure out the best way for me to get from here to there.
I made a promise to myself that I will be driving my Cobra on my 50 th birthday, I have just over 4 years to make it happen.
