I have a Holley (7lb.) electric fuel pump mounted above the (center) front of the fuel tank which bolts thru into the rear of the trunk and the bolts are hidden by the carpet. A rubber pad is between the pump bracket. I just replaced it after 21 faithful years of use. You only hear it faintly prior to starting the motor, but that helps you know its working !
