Webers have their advantages and disadvantages. You may want to hold off on your cam selection until you decide because some cams work better than others with Webers.
If you haven't already done it, read some of the longer Weber tuning threads here to get an idea of some of the tuning issues.
It might also help to call someone like Jim Inglese to get a manifold that will work for you and to help with the initial tuning.
They aren't for everyone, but there is no doubt that they are cool!
