First gear in the T56 is very tall @ 2.66:1 so going to 2.73: or 3.91:1 final drive really wakes them up.
The HSV Clubsport came out with 2.73:1 gears as an upgrade over the stock 3.46:1
The HSV GTS got 3.91:1 gears to wake it up even more.
I've got a Hydratrak diff center from a GTS in mine and the few times I've driven it on the street and the track it was great. I was very happy with the ratio for the power and weight I have. Cruising is still about 1800RPM at 110.
