After consulting with some GIS specialists about some of these important questions, and consulting with NSA to get details about those of you less known to me, I have arrived at an accurate determination of our middle. More on the long awaited answer in a moment.

When Richard posed the question, I was surprised that we only got three responses before forming a consensus, as were the NSA agents surprised. While NSA already had a file on us (something about "excessive fuel consumption" and "pry it from my cold, dead hands") they felt we would have discourse on a middle-location well past Saturday 8/4.

After logging details of 49 owner and wanna-be DFW Monthly Meet past/present attendees and forum lurkers, you will be interested to know that the barycentric middle isn't 50 miles west of Sturgis, SD, nor is it in Mansfield. It isn't as far west as IHOP in Irving, but, as many of you will be pleased to know, it is west of Marsh Lane

It is exactly 82' east of the residence at 2711 Mark Twain Dr. in Farmers Branch. or 32.942661090185100,-96.884305970845500

While this non-descript, run of the mill house in just another metroplex neighborhood isn't the most important place, it is the barycenter of our group. If we were going to choose a more or most important location to meet, we might choose going to Joshua to honor James and his monthly trek, or to Keller, just to say we've been, or run by Jay's to see his latest addition... naaaww, lets just pick a place in Plano next month

Larry... put me down for one.
