You know, I think I was partially dehydrated.
It was in the mid 90's, and quite humid, and it happened on the trip back. My left foot had been resting on the dead pedal for maybe an hour or more and, when I asked it to move, it did not respond. I had to kind of "poke" my leg at the clutch pedal to shift. After I wiggled it around a while, it finally came to life.

In the Chas/RodKnock book, a sub-500 HP FE is not a real FE. I think if I unbolted my sidepipes and ran little shorties it would qualify as a real FE in their eyes.

About 400, but I was pretty woozy when it was done. If you pulled me over and gave me a field sobriety test that involved walking a straight line, I'd have some 'splaining to do.
You know,
"Uhhh, Officer, I'm dehydrated, I can't hear out of my left ear, my right ear is buzzing, I still feel the wind buffeting even though I'm out of the car, and my left foot won't work -- cut me some slack...."
