Once more I postulate, why put cheap, crappy tires (tyres) on a high-horsepower, lightweight car? Will the money saved pay for the repairs and hospital? Spend $1000 on a the newest, best'est carb for 20 extra scoots, but put 1970s tires on the wheels 'cause the white letters look good!
Coopers are OK, as are the Mickey Thompson S/Ts, the MT S/Rs are better according to some and not so according to others but the Avons get uniform high marks. Cheap? No, but what is your butt worth?
Keep in mind the Goodyear Billboards are a non-radial design and not DOT legal. So what? Do you think your insurance company if they discover that, MIGHT use that as reason to deny the claim? No, an insurance company would NEVER do that!
