Default Mounting fibreglass to steel frame - insulation?

I fear this has been done to death but I did a search and couldn’t find a specific thread. I’m about to get serious with mounting the GTO fibreglass body onto the Nissan S30 unibody. I can utilize some of the captive nut locations used for the standard S30 panels but I’m anxious about rigid mounts. Can people provide advice of rubber insulation material and the like (thickness, shore scores, etc) or am I worrying about nothing – again! Do Cobras have a fibreglass-over-steel supports for mounting or are the bodies all fibreglass? Thanks
