There was a fellow I read about, who built his FFR Roadster to suit his large frame. He is 6'6" tall and weighs 240lbs, wears a size 12 shoe.
Some of the modifications he did include, raising the steering wheel on the upper steering column bearing, enlarging his foot box sideways, as well as dropping it down lower, so his feet would fit. He also used a Kirkey seat, which is thinner, and he bent and cut his pedal arms to be more suitable.
So it is possible for taller guys to drive a regular bodied, standard wheelbase Roadster, but only after some alterations. Buying a turn key, longer wheelbase car may be the easier route. If you decide to build it yourself, some research would be advisable. Easy to do the mods while building it, than trying to add them later to a pre-built car.
