I use Photobucket to host my photos, free and easy. Once I have uploaded a photo, I place the cursor on the photo and 4 different links will appear below it. Choose the IMG link by placing your cursor on it and left click on it, this will copy the link.
Then when you compose a post on the forum, just right click where you want the picture to appear, put the cursor on "paste" and left click on that. Your photo will appear on the post, like this:
Without pictures we are probably unable to help you much...those who are much more knowledgable about the different manufacturers will help by asking for photos of various parts of the car, frame, engine compartment, dash, etc...
