For a brief moment, I considered buying a Lotus Elise with the money I'd saved for the Cobra. To misquote Woody Allen, I figured driving an Elise would be the most fun I could have with my clothes on.
But then I reminded myself that owning a Cobra -- not an Elise -- has always been my life's dream. So I bought a Cobra as originally planned.
