I've considered adding a remote system to my FE for 1) easier filter access, and 2) I just think it looks cool. But, our local FE guru/engine builder recently told another FE member on here to get rid of the remote filter. I'm not sure of his reasons. Maybe that member will chime in with more details.

And, X2 on the other comments on Fram. Do a little research on them, and you'll put Fram at the bottom of your preference list.

Lastly, I agree with previous comments that you'll just add more connections that could possibly leak.

I also like the looks of the oil cooler, but my personal experience shows that I don't need one on my FE in Okla, especially for street use. Even on summer track days, the oil temp stays OK during 20-25 mile track sessions. If the track session was 50 or 100 miles; maybe, I don't know.

I've decided to NOT install remote filter or cooler on mine.
