I would have no problems buying new from any of the established manufacturers. Superformance, ERA, Factory Five, Backdraft, etc. All excellent reputations. Not a hint of delivery problems. But there is something about dealing with Shelby stuff that gives me pause.
And with this particular issue/lawsuit - who know what the facts are? I do not care.

Sure, there was sweating and swearing, luckely we had Bill Malone in our corner keeping us up to date on the now defunct "Cobra Owners Forum".
Updates and pictures kept us off the ledge..............
CSX's were also much less expensive at the time, $39,900 for a fully finished painted roller. I believe the deposit was $10k.
Better risk/reward ratio, would not do again.
