Caution-no where in this thread does "just dreamin' state that these are magnesium Halibrands. He just describes the markings on them which I think are also on aftermarket non-Halibrand wheels.
To my eye they are either Trigo or PS aluminums. To wit:
The centers look like the 'standard' gray powder finish.
The valve stems are in the webs, not the outer rim area.
The shoulders of the rims may be different.
The brighter finish looks like aluminum that has dulled over time.
These are mine-from the Halibrand factory circa 1991. The centers are natural as cast which has turned from heat and is clear coated with acrylic-not powder.Rims are polished with Nuvite. Compare to above:
