Hi David, Welcome to southern Arizona. Fort Huachuca is right at an hours drive to the southeast of Tucson. You'll be right next to the Mexican border, however, there are some rather tall mountains a mile souith of the Fort. Get you lungs ready for a change, Sierra Vista, the town outside the Fort's east gate is at 4,200' elevation. It is a "car guy" town, lots of old cars and two large shows a year. At that elevation you can drive the Cobra all year long, some snow in the winter and some rain in the summer. Generally nice. Please continue this thread in the Arizona page.
