I agree with Richard completely, a proper bedding process will improve the brake performance considerably.
With regards to the “stripping” pattern: I used to see that 10-15 years ago at Wilwood when the Blanchard grinder lost the set-up and did not dress the table and grinding head properly. Because the faces are ground in separate operations and have huge magnetic loads placed on them, it was very difficult to maintain the required flatness, parallelism etc.
Is it possible that these are old rotors?
