No intention of going with that set up. It was just the only commercially available option that I could find on the interweb for the T5. It also looks like a similar setup to the photos originally posted. I have considered fabricating one that sits below the tunnel but I would like to know how it shifts first. I suspect that cross shifting would require more effort.
Mike's is certainly an excellent solution but I am not sure if it could be made to work on a T5. If so, I would be very interested. My shifter sits around about at my elbow so any movement forward would be good.
