What a blast and for a good cause.
I just got back and man, it was just FUN.
Thanks Larry for the info, wish you and gthompson could have made it.
It was a bit cold and overcast first thing but about 10am things started to warm up.
My coupe had an issue, it kept spraying fuel out the fuel cell breather vent. Darn black flags. I thought as the fuel level burned off it would go away = not.
I eventually plugged the vent opening and used a fuel cap that was "adjusted" to vent into the ambient air. No more spillage.
The coupe was very tail happy in the cold but tended to hold much better with each lap as the track rubbered up and got progressively warmer.
On my last outing the PCV valve popped/pushed out an puked
oil on the headers. Wow what a smoke shield.
That will teach those Miatas to get off my tail.
