My Roush 427 SR/TW came with black powder coated ( with black and silver fins ) valve covers. We have all seen many variations on Roush VC's . 427-924 is permanently engrave into the cover. The original AFR heads were replaced under warranty and the present AFR heads have ROUSH with a serial number engraved. They are ( per Roush ) AFR heads. The steel block is a Dart. I have a friend who's SPF engine has Roush VC on a non-Roush engine. I hope you can paper trace the engine. Is the seller the original owner? Does he have receipts ? Who installed the engine ?
