Nice car but it has been modified to be a 289, not a 260. The fender vents have been added, the wheels are not the early 260 5.5" lip-lace but the later 6.0" center lace type.
Of course back in the day it was OK to "upgrade" youur Cobra to the latest specification and cut and hack as needed to make it go faster. Sometimes in the search for "virgin originals" we tend to forget this. So the continued "Hot Rodding" of Cobras is why an untouched, factory spec car is so rare today.
And I don't understand why the seller is keeping the CSX number a secret. Any serious buyer is going to the registry before dealing so you won't scare any real buyer off with the number.
