I think the lower wishbone is the steering stop.

I didn't do anything specifically, but I seem to recall seeing rub marks where the tyre contacted the wishbone. However, you will never have the steering that far over at speed and it is only likely to be while manoeuvring in car parks etc. so I don't think I'd worry about it, unless it's an IVA issue.
