Roy Lunn headed up the Mustang I and II projects, which were done at Ford's Engineering Research Center, the same operation that did the turbine truck. Roy later managed the contractor KarKraft where such projects as the J-car, Mk IV GT40s, TransAm Mustangs and Boss 429 Mustangs were done. I was assigned to KarKraft in the late '60's to work on the mid-engine Mustang. It was an interesting time to say the least.
