The spring will be just fine. Once the weight is on for a week it will fully seat.

Are you telling me you are putting in a BB ? If so...Sell the stock front suspension! I know it's another investment right now, but you will not be happy, nor will the car handle worth a darn. Not that it is unsafe or anything, BUT using a tubular set up with coil overs will make a whole new car of it. Much, much better!
