Yes, you've figured that out.
Since you now define road course use, build for HP. You only leave from rest once there. If you build 600+HP, you'll have more than abundant torque to get off corners
provided you can put that power down.
Cobras= 90" WB, IRS and poor aerodynamics; not good for high torque applications.
