I use the Tilton TOB too and would recommend it. It works very well and is standard on all the jbl's. The only trouble I had with it was caused by me and not the unit

here is a picture of it. You need two parts...the black collar that attaches to the transmission and has a threaded neck. Different model transmissions require different collars. The TOB then threads onto this. By rotating the bearing unit, you can adjust the distance to the clutch plate fingers.
