Well, where do I start?
I have just finished pulling my motor out due to overheating because my cooling system wasn't up to scratch.
I'm also in the middle of replacing every red/blue fitting on the car with silver/black fittings. Fortunately I found out through AussieMike that the constant petrol smell in my garage was due to the braided hoses I used on my fuel system giving of petrol vapor. I contacted speedflow and they confirmed that after about 3 months braided hose absorbed the fuel and let of petrol vapor when using 98 octane fuel. I didn't mind the petrol smell in the garage but I couldn't use the air conditioner without getting petrol fumes through my whole house.
I'm not changing the injection system. The reason for the weber manifold is that I'm going to run the two ports at the front of the intake manifold to the weber manifold which will run to the radiator. I'm also installing a Harrison tank.
While all this is going on I've decided to change a few things that I've never been entirely happy with including
=new boss rocker covers.
=new dipstick.
=reposition the alternator about 50mm lower by redesigning the alternator bracket.
=changing the rubber braid to teflon braided hoses for the fuel system.
=weld a bung to the bottom of the radiator to be able to drain it easily.
=install an air bleeder to the top of one of the water hoses.
=running the overflow from the catch can that picks up the rocker cover fumes to the petrol pump position on the timing cover. [AussieMike's solution].

Regards.
