My Arntz has a SBC in it. I priced out converting it a few times, but the headers seem to be the real killer. They basically have to be custom made. It would almost be cheaper for me to buy a cheap TiG welder and do it myself.
On the flip side, I can stick in a 427 CID LSX GM engine and pull 605 hp all day on pump gas. That would cost me about $10k.
The question is...do you plan on driving it or parking it at car shows? If car shows, go Ford. If driving, who cares.
