Have a look at a few other cars and choose the best lay back angle. Make yours up to suit. I used the standard distance from screen to rear lip and now find that I would prefer the screen to be further back. The issue then is that the rubber at the front will no longer seal with the body. For the few times I drive in the rain and the difficulty of keeping water out elsewehre, I would prefer to have sacrificed this for a lower angle.
I spoke to Don Pilling at the time of doing my car and 45* is apparently the way to go. Mine is more around 50*.
If you want my measurement, let me know and I will run a tape over it. Is yours stretched?
