I had a similar experience with my car BDR #1133. I verified that there was no binding in the steering going lock to lock with the front end raised up. I then discovered a two inch difference in the height adjustment of the front springs. Readjustment of the front solved my problem. Nevertheless, it does take a while to develop the Popeye arms that are needed to maneuver the car at low speeds.
