Does the strut top hat bearing move freely? Is the top of the strut binding with the weight of the car on it? On a BMW there is a concaved washer between the strut hat and bearing. If it is installed upside down or missing, the strut binds and digs in when rotating. I am not positive if BDR is similar in this area or not. Maybe Cashburn will weigh in. Just a thought.
