Am I understanding that you removed the top plate, aligned the shift dogs so the car was in neutral, that fixed the problem and everything worked well for a while, and then it got stuck again? If so, then you will need to pull the transmission and take it to a competent rebuilder. Tremecs break keys/sliders/forks and the result is that you get stuck and have to screwdriver it in to neutral. Your TKO weighs about a hundred pounds, so you and a friend can literally "hand deliver" it to a trusted Tremec-knowledgable rebuilder who will fix it for a not too terribly high sum. You might as well change out the clutch, pp, tob, and pilot while you're in there.
