The last registry did alert people to an undesirable situation with the Syosset car relative to what had been documented in the earlier registries. There is no reference to documentation assigning the right to ownership of the 3016 chassis number to that car. It was even stated in the '08 edition how the Syosset car was previously identified as 3106. Most people don't need more info than that to stay away from the car. However, as is the case with each edition of the registry, additional information keeps coming in. It has also been difficult for people to step forward with pertinent info into the threat of potential litigation. The owner of the real car has what he has and that has been enough for him. I'm sure if potential buyers contact Ned he will warn them of getting involved with the car for sale.
