It's a great result for Adam. He's been so close before and now he's finally nailed it. He was born in Adelaide but his family moved to Queensland when he was very young, he did his schooling up here in Queensland and he lives on the Gold Coast when he's in Australia so we're happy to claim him as one of our own.

I thought Jason Day was going to take the title ( by the way did I mention that Jason is also a QUEENSLANDER) but the incredible pressure got to him in the closing stages. His time will come but in the meantime, yes, huge congratulations to Adam Scott!
